November in Cincinnati – it’s one of my favorite times of year. There’s so much to do here in town. From the openings of all the holiday shows and events to lights and pumpkins and pie!

November 1: Save those pumpkins and head to Stanbery Park for their annual Pumpkin Chuck, happening from noon to 5pm. Use their giant trebuchets to launch your pumpkin through the air and into the field. They’ll have food trucks on hand, craft beer, live entertainment, and more.
November 1: The City Flea is going old school with a Vintage Market at Zieglar Park, 12-5pm.
November 5: Supermoon! Join Dean Regas and his fellow stargazers to view the closest full Moon of the year at Ault Park, 6-8pm. Explore the different telescope designs, ask questions with the experts, and learn interesting facts about the moon. It is a free event, open to the public, and for all ages. Weather dependent.
November 5: Take a Night Hike on the Farm at Winton Woods (Farm and Equestrian Center), 7-8pm. See which animals emerge at night in the woods surrounding the Farm. Dress for the weather to hike and search for nocturnal life under the ambient full moon. To find this event, click the link above and then choose Nov. 5 on their calendar.
November 5: Take a Beaver Moon Hike at Glenwood Gardens, 7-8pm. Experience the park after dark during this guided full moon hike. Learn about beavers and other nocturnal wildlife during a 2.5-mile trek along the natural, moonlit trail. (Note: this path has uneven terrain.) November 7-9: Germania’s Christkindlmarkt will be going on all weekend, Friday – Sunday. Based on traditional Christmas markets that are popular throughout Germany, Germania’s Christkindlmarkt is mostly under their covered pavilion and heated tents, with some booths and attractions outdoors. Sip on a cold German bier, or enjoy a cup of Glühwein (hot mulled wine) while shopping for unique gifts from Germany and from local crafters, and listen to music that will get you in the holiday spirit!
November 7-9: The Greater Cincinnati Holiday Market will be at the Sharonville Convention Center (note new venue). Save a few bucks when you purchase tickets online.
November 8-9: Head to Shawnee Lookout for the 1800s Harvest Jamboree. Every autumn in the 1800s, Ohioans reaped what they sowed: crops! Step back in time to celebrate fall food and fellowship at this historic 19th-century jubilee. Taste traditionally prepared dishes at the pioneer picnic, join in frontier festivities, toss tomahawks and enjoy family-friendly games.

November 10-16: It’s Pizza Week! Nosh on $10 pizzas from some of Cincinnati’s best pizza joints. It’s the perfect time to check out something new or enjoy old favorites!
November 14+: Holiday Junction featuring the Duke Energy Holiday Trains opens for the season at Cincinnati Museum Center. See all the old CG&E trains, have some fun at Holiday Junction, admire all the at LEGO brick creations at Brickopolis, and more. Admission charged.
November 15: The Summit Park Ice Rink opens for the season and will be open through January 4th, 2026 (closed on holidays). Tickets can be purchased at the ice rink (no online option). Admission charged.
November 15: It’s the perfect time of year for Great Parks’ “Birding 101”, happening at Glenwood Gardens, 8:30-10am. Join a nature interpreter to learn bird identification basics, binocular tips and more, then head out for a guided bird walk. November 16: Art on Vine’s Holiday Market will be happening at Rhinegeist, 12-6pm. Join in for a festive day of shopping and supporting local artists. With over 80 vendors from Cincinnati and beyond, you’ll find something unique for everyone on your list.
November 20: Festival of Lights opens for the season at The Cincinnati Zoo.
November 22+: Cincinnati Christkindlmarkt (adjacent to the Moerlein Lager House on the Event Lawn at Smale Park) opens for the season on November 22. The festival runs Wednesday through Sunday each week until December 28 (closed Thanksgiving and Christmas day). Admission is free.
November 22: Light Up the Levee is happening at Newport on the Levee, 3-7pm. Celebrate the season with live music, fireworks, Santa Claus and the lighting of the tree on The Plaza. Santa arrives at 1pm and will be available for pictures until 5pm. The tree lighting will be at 7pm followed by Rozzi fireworks.
November 22: Lights Up will be happening at Liberty Center starting at 3pm. The evening includes a holiday parade, family-friendly activities, and a very special guest – Santa! The tree lighting will take place following the parade.
November 22: The Holiday OFF Market will be on the grounds of Summit Park, 10am-4pm.

November 28: Kings Island’s Winterfest opens for the season.
November 28: Take a drive to Metamora, Indiana for their Metamora Christmas Walk, 12-9pm. See lanterns lining the canal, luminaries lighting the pathways and holiday decorations throughout the entire village. Sing along with the strolling carolers, visit Santa in the Santa House for a memorable photo, and hop on a horse-drawn carriage ride. Bring your gift list as plenty of shopping opportunities will be available in many of Metamora’s unique shops, including Whitewater Canal State Historic Site’s gift shop offering site merchandise, freshly ground cornmeal, grits and bran.
November 29: It’s time for Crafty Supermarket at Music Hall, 11am-5pm.
