Waynesville Fall Fest

When: Saturdays and Sundays, September 14 – November 3, 2024
What to Expect: Waynesville Fall Fest spans a HUGE area! Your admission includes all of the activities except for carnival games, gem mining, and water wars. Activities included with admission are the Wildwater Mining Company mega play set, Splash Landing Expeditions, mini golf, pedal cars, disc golf, ghost town village, a 5-acre corn maze, the musical mushroom, a petting farm, bocce ball, children’s’ maze of confusion, giant porch games, gaga ball, corn crib, human foosball, special events, and much more!

Ohio Renaissance Festival (aka Ohio RenFest)
Where: Waynesville, Ohio
When: Weekends from August 31 to October 27, 2024
What to Expect: Take a step back in time at the Ohio Renaissance Festival. 30 acres have been transformed into a 16th century English village filled with thrilling shows, fun eats, unique shops, and LOADS of fantasy. Don’t miss their themed weekends!

Beavercreek Popcorn Festival
When: September 7 and 8, 2024
Where: Dayton-Xenia Road (between North Fairfield Rd. and Meadow Bridge Dr.), Beavercreek, Ohio
What to Expect: Traditionally held the weekend after Labor Day, this fall festival includes 200+ booths with festival foods, crafts, and specialties made with popcorn; live entertainment; a car show; their “kidz” area with a variety of carnival games, inflatables, and entertainment; a beer garden; and more.

When: September 19-22, 2024
What to Expect: This Oktoberfest celebration is the second largest in the world, only behind the event in Munich. Enjoy all things German – great German food, live music, contests, the World’s Largest Chicken Dance, and more at this fall festival in Ohio.

Barnesville Pumpkin Festival
Where: Barnesville, Ohio
When: September 26-29, 2024
What to expect: Pumpkins at fall festivals in Ohio don’t get much bigger than this! There’s plenty to see and do at the Barnesville Pumpkin Festival. This three day Ohio fall festival includes the Barnesville Giant Pumpkin Festival Weigh-Off, a parade, a car show, rides, tractor cruise, pie eating contest, decorated pumpkins, a pet show, a 5k run and fitness walk, hog callings, tobacco spitting, and loads more!

Ohio Sauerkraut Festival in Waynesville
Where: around 10 North Main Street, Waynesville, OH 45068
When: October 12-13, 2024 (always held on the second full weekend of October)
What to Expect: Celebrating all things sauerkraut and more, you can enjoy lots of great food, arts and crafts from vendors across 25 states, entertainment, and more at the Ohio Sauerkraut Festival. Surrounding area merchants are open as well.

Bob Evans 52nd Annual Farm Festival
Where: Bob Evans Farm, 10854 State Route 588, Rio Grande, OH 45674
When: October 11-13, 2024
What to Expect: A fall festivals in Ohio list wouldn’t be complete without a mention of the Bob Evans Farm Fest. Enjoy a wide range of entertainment, one-of-a-kind handmade arts and crafts, farm contests, delicious local food, and much more! Tickets are $5 per person at the gate (kids 5 and under are free). Circleville Pumpkin Show
Where: around 159 E. Franklin St., Circleville, OH 43113
When: October 16-19, 2024
What to Expect: The Circleville Pumpkin Show is all about the pumpkin! Enjoy parades, largest pumpkins contests, rides, food, Miss Pumpkin and Little Miss Pumpkin shows, and much more. Gawk at more than 100,000 pounds of pumpkins, squash, and gourds they’ll have on display.
