10+ of the Best Sledding Hills Near Cincinnati

Grab your sled and run for the hills! We’ve put together a list of the best sledding hills in Cincinnati.

We should remind you that sledding can be dangerous and that you should “sled at your own risk”. In addition, you should check with these Cincinnati area sledding hills and/or their websites for possible park closures and/or changes before you head out the door.

Embshoff Woods*: Embshoff Woods one of the Hamilton County Parks (Great Parks). It is a 334 acre park located on the west side of town. Sledding is “permitted everywhere except golf courses, conservation areas and natural areas”.
Located at 4050 Paul Road (near Delhi) 45238

Winton Woods*: Winton Woods has multiple hills but our favorite is Butterfly Bluff in Harper Meadows. The park has a large lake that is surrounded by a walking trail (check to be sure it’s cleared if you want to walk). Winton Woods is located north of Finneytown, in Springfield Township. Sledding is “permitted everywhere except golf courses, conservation areas and natural areas”.

Woodland Mound* Sled behind the Ranger Station! Sledding is “permitted everywhere except golf courses, conservation areas and natural areas”.
Located at 8250 Old Kellogg, Anderson Township

Sharon Woods*: Sledding spots are near the Sharon Centre. Sledding is “permitted everywhere except golf courses, conservation areas and natural areas”.
Located at 11450 Lebanon Road, near Sharonville

Miami Whitewater Forest*: Check out the area near the harbor overlook. Sledding is “permitted everywhere except golf courses, conservation areas and natural areas”.
Located at 9001 Mt. Hope Road in Crosby Twp.

Located at 1300 Hunter Road, Fairfield

Stanbery Park continues to be one of the most popular sledding hills in town.
Located at 2221 Oxford Avenue, Mt. Washington
