February 7, 2020 (Friday):

Love is in the air this year at the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden’s Valentine’s Dinner. Spend your Valentine’s Day at the sexiest Zoo in America! Reservations required. This is a repeating event. Choose an open date: Febraury 7, 8, 14 & 15.

February 8, 2020 (Saturday):

The O.F.F. Winter Market  is setting up shop inside Madtree Brewing! Artists, bakers, chefs, scavengers, mobile boutiques, and everything in between will be converging on Madtree Brewing February 8th, 10am – 4pm.

Love is in the air this year at the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden’s Valentine’s Dinner. Spend your Valentine’s Day at the sexiest Zoo in America! Reservations required. This is a repeating event. Choose an open date: Febraury 7, 8, 14 & 15.

Head to The Loft at Braxton Brewing Co. for a Galentine’s Brunch, 11am-2pm. Start the morning with a Belgian Waffle & Crepe Bar catered by Taste of Belgium. Then carry on with bottomless mimosas, bloody marys, and a lineup of your favorite Braxton beers on tap until 2pm. Your ticket price includes food and drinks.

The Heritage Village Museum is hosting “Chocolate, Champagne, and Candlelight“, an evening with a Roaring ’20s theme. “Babe Ruth” will be the MC of this swanky event. Learn to dance the Charleston, then dance the night away to jazz music played by the Matt Tolentino Trio. Listen to a talk on the Brewery Industry in Cincinnati and Prohibition. Watch a magician do card tricks. Indulge in the chocolate buffet and hors d’oeuvres.

February 10, 2020 (Monday):

Enjoy a Valentine’s Day Cookie Class at Sonder Brewing, 6:30-8:30pm. Learn to make six fun Valentine’s Day cookies you’ll be able to take home and enjoy! All supplies will be provided. No experience is necessary.

February 11, 2020 (Tuesday):

It’s opening night for Broadway in Cincinnati’s “Les Misérables”. Set against the backdrop of 19th-century France, Les Misérables tells an enthralling story of broken dreams and unrequited love, passion, sacrifice, and redemption — a timeless testament to the survival of the human spirit. Featuring the thrilling score and beloved songs ‘I Dreamed A Dream’, ‘On My Own’, ‘Stars’, ‘Bring Him Home’, ‘One Day More’, and many more, this epic and uplifting story has become one of the most celebrated musicals in theatrical history. This show is at the Aronoff Center from February 11 through Febraury 23.

It doesn’t get sweeter than Turner Farm Teaching Kitchen’s Chocolate Workshop, perfect for the chocoholic in you. Students will get introduced to chocolate’s rich history and learn about the process of chocolate confection making, as well as get hands-on instruction in essential chocolate techniques. A farm-fresh lunch will also be served, and students will be able to take home the chocolate masterpieces they create. 11:30am-1:30pm.

February 12, 2020 (Wednesday):

Galentine’s Day Hand-Tied Flower Bouquet Workshop. Each guest will create their very own hand tied bouquet to take home and enjoy. The flower arranging can take anywhere from one to one and a half hours, depending on the complexity and format of the arrangement. Working with flowers can be messy, and even snag a delicate sweater, so make sure to wear something you won’t mind getting messy. Tickets required.

February 13, 2020 (Thursday):

The Bonbonerie is hosting their second annual Galentine’s Day. As the name would suggest, it is a day for women to celebrate their female friendships – rather than taking place instead of Valentine’s Day though. Galentine’s Day occurs the day before so that women with significant others can still have fun with their romantic partners should they so desire. You will get to enjoy a light dinner created by one of our chefs. two of our signature cocktails, sangria, wine or other beverages. Additional cocktails and wine will be available to purchase. You will also get to decorate a cupcake with your girls to enjoy and one to take home. Each ticket includes light dinner, 2 cocktails and 2 cupcakes to decorate tax & gratuity. Starts at 7pm and tickets/reservations are required.

Celebrate Galentine’s Day at the American Sign Museum, 6-8pm. The evening includes 12 wine tastings chosen by Heidelburg Distributing, paired lights bites by the Phoenix Catering, and full access to the American Sign Museum. Tickets/reservations required.

It’s the Third Annual Galentine’s Day at Fibonacci Brewing Company. They will have their new pastry stout, a special wine cocktail, cupcakes, and other fun activities. This year they will also have comedy starting at 7:30pm. They will have women owned Burger World 46 onsite from 6-9 with food. And they’re partnering with Cincinnati Girls Pint Out to celebrate women who enjoy craft beer!

3 Sweet Girls Cakery is hosting a Galentine’s Day Cupcake Decorating and Dessert Sampling, 6-7:30pm. You’ll be decorating cupcakes at a DIY cupcake sundae bar & sampling a variety of desserts. Included: a dessert sampler box, all supplies needed to decorate 4 cupcakes, non-alcoholic beverages.

It’s the Week of Love Galentine’s Day celebration at Liberty Center. Grab your gals and head to the Living Room for a Friends inspired celebration! Catch up on your favorite episodes while visiting their braid and nail polish bar provided by Cassington Hair & Co. or pivot over to the hot chocolate and coffee bar from CAVU Coffee. Receive a complimentary mini cupcake from Molly’s Cupcakes with each ticket purchased. 6-8pm.

It’s a Galentine’s Day celebration at The Rhined Cheese Shop, 5-9pm. They’ll be featuring a wine and cheese flight (paired!) by only women producers. AND they’ll be playing their famous Galentine’s Day playlist (lots of Beyonce, Lizzo, Kesha, Mariah Carey, Nicki Minaj, Rihanna, Alanis Morisette, etc.). Cheese by women, wine by women, a disco ball, and lots of fun at this little cheese shop!

Head to the Contemporary Arts Center for One Night One Craft – Cladies Night. Clay + Ladies + Wine and Cheese. What could make for a better night? Join us for an air dry clay necklace making night with artist Julia Lipovsky to celebrate Galentines Day. Your artmaking for the night will be paired with a cheese board from the Rhined, sparkling wine, and a Her-She from the artist to top it all off. Bring your gals and we will provide the rest!

Turner Farm Teaching Kitchen is offering a Wine & Food Pairing Workshop, 6:30-8pm. This lecture-based class is for anyone (of legal drinking age) who wants to better understand the key principles behind wine and food pairing … by tasting their way through them! The Turner Farm Teaching Kitchen team will prepare small plates of seasonal, farm-fresh foods to be enjoyed with a variety of wines during the class to help you better understand pairing fundamentals. Chef Stephanie, who has worked in the wine world, will also teach you how to taste wine like a pro. Ages 21+ only. Reservations/tickets required.

Take an Intro to Macarons Class at the Macaron Bar, 6-9pm. In this 3 hour class, you’ll learn the art and science behind macarons, including their best tips and tricks for success. They’ll cover how to make the cookie shells as well as making some of their most popular filling flavors. You get to take home all of the macarons you make! Reservations/tickets required.

OTR’s favorite midwinter rendezvous returns with Valentines at the Memo 2020! The Phoenix’s Chef Jeremy Luers collaborates with Elias Leisring (Eli’s BBQ) on an eclectic, four-course dining experience. Enjoy the architectural grandeur of Memorial Hall as you progress through its ballrooms, Parkview Room and Anderson Theater, each vista offering culinary delights and live musical performances. 2 seatings are offered: 6pm and 8:30pm.

Love in Your Backyard, a Valentine’s Date Night is happening at the Krohn Conservatory, 6-8pm. Love is the topic du jour on Valentine’s Day, so Cincinnati Park staff are going to share the fascinating, intimate details of wildlife reproduction in the rainforest and desert while you enjoy the beauty of Krohn at night. The Cincinnati Nature Center is hosting Couples Date Night – a Savory Maple Evening, 7-9pm. Join in for this sweet, behind-the-scenes look at all things maple. Walk hand in hand to the sugarbush under the soft light of a lantern while enjoying a maple historical talk. Marvel at the glowing hot rocks used in ancient rock boiling while sharing a savory maple hors d’oeuvre. Learn how maple toffee is made while sipping on maple cocktails, and discover which cheeses pair well with maple syrup. This tour combines the historical and modern day production of maple syrup with maple-related dishes and beverages. Preregistration required.

A Valentine’s Couples Cooking Class is happening at the Liberty Farm Market, 6-9pm. Learn to make Spaghetti and Meatballs From Scratch! You’ll learn how to make your own spaghetti from start to finish and how to make the most perfect meatball. Look for your new best friend at My Furry Valentine – the Tri-State area’s largest animal adoption event. Sharonville Convention Center, Feb. 15 & 16. Admission required.

Art on Vine will be at Rhinegeist, 12-7pm. Celebrate some lovin’ supporting local artists, crafters and unique hand crafted items.

There’s a Maverick Chocolate Demonstration happening at the Krohn Convservatory. Paul Picton, owner of Maverick Chocolate will demonstrate the complex and interesting process of making chocolate from bean to bar. Visitors will even be able to sample some of his wonderful chocolate afterward! 1-3pm. Event is included in your admission to the Bloom and Grow Spring Show at the Krohn Conservatory.
