Valentines Day Cincinnati

Feb. 10-12: Loveland, the “Sweetheart of Ohio”, is hosting Hearts Afire Weekend. The weekend will feature elements of fire and ice with live entertainment, outdoor decorations, and photo opportunities. Local businesses participate with valentine specials and love-inspired activities.

Mix it up a bit with The Dinner Detective Murder Valentine’s Day Show, happening at the Embassy Suites Rivercenter from 6-9pm. Solve a hilarious mystery while you feast on a fantastic dinner. Just beware! The culprit is hiding in plain sight somewhere in the room, and you may find yourself as a Prime Suspect before you know it!

It’s a Night of Dinner and Dancing at Benken Garden Center. Enjoy a romantic Valentine’s evening under the greenhouse lights. Dinner, dancing with a DJ, and a photo booth! Registration ends January 25.

Newport on the Levee is hosting Love on the Levee (noon-3pm) to celebrate Valentine’s Day. They’ll have themed sips and snacks, live music, and more from their local businesses.

Great Parks is hosting Pastries, Petals & Pours in the Hayloft Barn at Parky’s Farm. Enjoy a selection of Vinoklet wines perfectly paired with delicious cakes from Cakes & Pastries by George while you learn how to create an everlasting wood floral arrangement. Each ticket includes three sample-sized pairings of wine, cake, and a beautiful wood-flower centerpiece. For ages 21 and older. Register by 2-9-23.

The Great Parks Valentine’s Bash will bring together fun arts and crafts with lovable animal ambassadors and a chance to learn how they show their love for each other, all at Woodland Mound from 1-3 p.m. Guests will make their own valentines and crafts while enjoying Valentine’s Day-themed activities at this free event. Vehicle Pass required for entry to the park.

Rookwood Pottery hosts a Galentine’s Day Sip, Shop, and Decorate event. Enjoy a mimosa flight as you learn to decorate your own cookies with Katie from the Cookie Lab. Sweet treats will be provided to enjoy as you decorate! Shop instore that day and receive 20% off of your purchase. Tickets required.

It’s a Galentine’s Brunch at the Observatory starting at 11:30am. Grab your gal pals and celebrate with the Observatory’s first annual Galentine’s Day brunch! The event will be held at the Observatory and will include a delicious brunch, Mimosa bar, and a program on Women in Astronomy. They’ll also have some extra surprises to make the event special, as well as solar viewing (weather permitting). Each attendee will be eligible for prizes throughout the event, and everyone will take home a self care Galentine’s themed goody bag. Tickets required.

Head to Funky Sunshine for their Valentine’s Day DIY Tie Dye event. This event is offered from 1-5pm on both Feb. 12 and 14. Must RSVP: Message or text/call them at 513.443.8659.

It’s Valentine’s Night at the Observatory. Your evening will start with an exquisitely plated dinner at a softly lit table for two, complete with indulgent gourmet desserts. Followed by a romantic tour of the Observatory and a champagne toast to make your night sparkle. Weather permitting, you and your valentine will end your night the most enchanting way possible, star gazing through America’s oldest public telescope. Tickets required.

My Furry Valentine, the annual mega pet adoption event, will be happening at the Sharonville Convention Center from 10am to 5pm on Saturdy and noon to 5pm on Sunday. Meet hundreds of adoptable animals under one roof.

February 7-12: Broadway in Cincinnati presents “Annie” at the Aronoff Center. Little Orphan Annie has reminded generations of theater goers that sunshine is always right around the corner, and now the best-loved musical of all time is set to return in a new production—just as you remember it and just when we need it most.

February 10-19: Cincinnati Ballet performs “Alice in Wonderland” at Music Hall. It’s a visual spectacle with elaborate sets and over-the-top costumes, accompanied by a buoyant score from composer Matthew Pierce performed with the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra. Follow the White Rabbit to Music Hall and meet the Mad Hatter and the Cheshire Cat, but watch out for the Red Queen, or it’ll be off with your head!

February: Neusole Glassworks is offering a Hearts of Love Couples Class. Each couple will make 2 separate hearts that will be joined together. They add your names or the date. Champagne and a box of chocolate provided. Reservations required.

February: Neusole Glassworks is offering a Hearts of Love class. Sculpt hot, molten glass into heart shaped paperweights. This class is for participants 5 years or older and reservations are required.
