September in Cincinnati – get ready to spend some time outside and enjoy some end of summer, beginning of fall events and activities. This is THE month for Oktoberfest celebrations, Labor Day fireworks, and so much more!
Enjoy this month long list of Things to Do in Cincinnati for the month of September:
September 1: Stricker’s Grove will hold their annual Labor Day Picnic. Admission includes all rides, roller coasters, mini golf, and free soft drinks. Park hours are noon to 8pm. Rides are open starting at 1pm and are closed for one hour at dinner time (between 4 and 5pm).
September 4-7: The Harvest Home Fair returns for 2025. It all starts with a parade on Sept. 4, 6pm. Enjoy food, rides, an Artisan Market, Flower Show, an Art Show, and much more. Thursday admission is free, admission charged for the rest of the Fair.
September 5-7: Vinoklet hosts their popular Art & Wine Festival. Enjoy multiple vendors, wine, beer, food, and live music. Admission and parking are free.

September 6-7: Fall Finds on the Farm Craft Show is happening at Niederman Family.
September 6: Westside Market (showcasing over 100 local vendors, food trucks and offers family fun activities) will be at Westwood Town Hall, 10am-3pm.
September 12-14: It’s First Responders Days at the Cincinnati Zoo. The Zoo will be honoring all those who protect our community by offering free admission to all active fire, police and safety personnel from Sept. 12-14, 2025. Personnel who qualify for free admission include firefighters, EMTs, uniformed police officers, state troopers, border patrol agents, investigators, evidence technicians, firearms examiners, crime lab technicians, 911 dispatchers, correction officers, handwriting examiners, intelligence analysts, investigative assistants and all members of the military (active and retired). The offer also allows fire and police personnel to purchase admission tickets at 50% off for up to six family members. See their site (link above) for ID requirements.

September 13: Head to MadTree Brewing (Oakley, Alcove, Parks & Rec) for Zieglerfest, 4-8pm. Oakley location: Enjoy stein holding competitions, live music from an authentic German band, games, prizes and Ziegler, their award-winning Oktoberfest beer! Alcove and Parks & Rec: Zieglar on tap with food pairings, limited-edition Ziegler steins for sale.
September 13: Cincinnati Observatory hosts an annual Telescope Festival: ScopeOut 2025 from 6 to 10pm. This exciting event brings together telescope and astrophotography enthusiasts from around the region to showcase their gear and share their passion for the night sky. Enjoy a chance to win a brand-new telescope in our raffle, browse the equipment swap and sale, grab a bite from local food trucks, and take in engaging presentations and hands-on kids activities. Whether you’re a seasoned stargazer or just curious about the hobby, Scope Out offers something for all ages under the stars. Tickets required.
September 13: The O.F.F. Market will be at Summit Park, 10am-4pm. The O.F.F. Market is a monthly marketplace that brings together small businesses, artisans, brewers, bakers, farmers and the like to provide a unique shopping experience that supports strong community connections and strives to grow a hearty local economy.
September 13: It’s time for another Hamilton Flea, happening at Marcum Park, 10am-4pm. Spend a day in beautiful downtown Hamilton exploring all the new restaurants, shops, and bars while checking out the premiere, curated urban flea market experience in the area!
September 14: Art on Vine will be at Washington Park, 12-6pm.
September 25-27: The Whispering Beard Folk Fest is happening at Carriage House Farm in North Bend, Ohio. They’ll have 15+ bands. Camping is available. Tickets required.
September 13: Bellevue Park hosts the Art in the Park, 10am – 5pm. Art in the Park is a fine Arts and Craft show featuring the areas best artists all in one beautiful place. You can also enjoy the live music, local food, beer, wine and activities for the kids.
September 13: The HighGrain Oktoberfest Party is happening in Silverton, 11am-10pm. They’ll have flowing Festbier, live music, hearty German-inspired eats, games, and all the gemütlichkeit (good vibes) you can handle.
September 13: Maker’s Mart 25 and College Hill Indie Festival are happening at Brink Brewing Co., 10am-9pm. Enjoy local artisans and crafters at Makers Mart 25 beginning at 12pm and continuing until 7pm. In addition to the market, Brink Brewing Co is proudly partnering with the inaugural College Hill Indie Festival to provide music throughout the day. The College Hill Indie Festival will begin at 10am in Patrick’s Park and continues until 9pm, providing sounds for shoppers in the market. Brink will be releasing specialty variants and a Barrel Aged version of our Award Winning Duncan Clan Scottish Ale, aged 1 year in a Willet Rye and Wild Turkey barrel.
September 14: It’s British Car Day – a classic car show that features 32+ classes of British and European cars.
September 18: It’s time for the Ault Park Summer Music Festival, 6-10pm. Join in for fantastic live music from The Billy Rock Band. Admission is FREE. Local favorite food, craft beer/margaritas/wine/hard seltzer and water will be available for purchase. They will be providing inflatables & games, and volunteer organizations will have kids’ crafts and activities from 6-8pm.
September 18-21: Cincinnati Oktoberfest is happening at a new spot this year – Sawyer Point! Among LOTS of other things, enjoy fun events like the Running of the Wieners, the Gemütlichkeit Games, the World’s Largest Chicken Dance, and the Sam Adams Stein Hoist Competition. September 20-21: The Benton Farm Fall Craft Show is happening at the farm, 9am-4pm. They’ll have 120+ vendors plus food trucks and live music. Admission charged.
September 20: The City Flea will be at Washington Park, 10am-4pm
September 27-28: It’s time for Art Fair at Pyramid Hill, a juried show that brings together more than 100 artists to sell their handmade creations throughout the weekend. The artists’ booths are set amongst the monumental modern and contemporary sculptures that dot their gorgeous grounds. The Art Fair also features live music, family-friendly activities and food.
