Friday, February 9

Head to Haile Planetarium (NKU campus) while students from NKU’s Theatre Program tell stories during Haile Planetarium’s  Valentine’s Day show “Romance Under the Light of the Moon.”

Enjoy the spring floral display by candlelight when you attend Krohn By Candlelight: Love in the Wild

Cincinnati Auto Expo is at the Duke Energy Convention Center (through Feb. 11). Friday hours: 11am-9pm

 

Saturday, February 10

The Mardi Gras Grand Parade will be in Mainstrasse (NKy) Saturday, February 10th, at 8:00 p.m. Cappel’s will be selling beads on the street before and during the parade. The parade route is down Main Street from 9th Street to 5th Street. Main Street will be closed for the duration of parade.

Look for your new best friend at My Furry Valentine – the Tri-State area’s largest animal adoption event. Sharonville Convention Center, 12pm-5pm.

The Cincinnati Ballet presents Carmina Burana + Serenade February 8-11, 2018

Krohn Zone Explores Chocolate, 10am – 5pm with Maverick Chocolate demonstrations from 11am – 3pm

Head to Jungle Jim’s for The Big Cheese Festival. Join fellow queso connoisseurs and fromage fanatics at Jungle Jim’s in Fairfield, where the Oscar Event Center will open its doors to fulfill some of your wildest, cheesiest dreams.

The O.F.F. Winter Market  is setting up shop inside Madtree Brewing! Artists, bakers, chefs, scavengers, mobile boutiques, and everything in between will be converging on Madtree Brewing February 10th for the first 2018 Market. 10am – 4pm.

Sunday, February 11

Head to Jungle Jim’s for The Big Cheese Festival. Join fellow queso connoisseurs and fromage fanatics at Jungle Jim’s in Fairfield, where the Oscar Event Center will open its doors to fulfill some of your wildest, cheesiest dreams.

Look for your new best friend at My Furry Valentine – the Tri-State area’s largest animal adoption event. Sharonville Convention Center, 12pm-5pm.

The kids might enjoy “Pinocchio” at Second Sunday Family Showtime at Clifton Cultural Arts Center, recommended for grade 1+ (free for kids but $5 for adults)

It’s that time of year! Head to Cincinnati Nature Center for Maple Syrup Making and Guided Sap Collecting Hikes. Drop by the sugar house near Krippendorf Lodge anytime between 12-4 pm on Sundays. Join in an interactive sap collecting maple hike on Sundays at 1 pm, 2 pm or 3 pm. Hikes start at the Outdoor Learning Center. Free; nonmembers pay daily admission.

Enjoy a Valentine’s Day Sweet Stroll through Findlay Market (recommended to buy tickets in advance, limited supply). Celebrate as a couple, or with friends and family by indulging in scrumptious tasting stations from Findlay Market vendors. Each tasting station will also include a wine pairing courtesy of Market Wines at Findlay Market and a tea pairing courtesy of Churchill’s Fine Teas.

Winter Family Days at the Newport Aquarium offers one kid gets in FREE with each adult paying full price (through Feb. 28)
