I’m all in! Tell me about the long-term volunteer opportunities!

Long term volunteers are those who can commit to approximately 40 hours in the span of a calendar year. With opportunities to volunteer at golf courses, Parky’s Farm, on the trails and more, you’re bound to find something that you love doing while giving back. Find a list of long term volunteer opportunities here.

In addition to meeting new friends and learning new skills, long term volunteers can get some great benefits including up to two vehicle permits annually, invite to the Annual Volunteer Appreciation Event at special venues, special training, and more (see site for details).

Want to get a group from work together to volunteer?

Great Parks offers lots of opportunities for folks to come together and volunteer. Your group will get to know each other better and develop teamwork while working on an energizing project that will have a positive impact on the environment and your community. Projects might include planting trees, landscaping, trail work, removing invasive plants, or cleaning lake and river banks. Corporate group projects generally take place Monday through Friday during normal business hours.
