Asian Food Fest in Cincinnati Ohio

 

Friday, May 11:

Rookwood Pottery is hosting their Spring Open House. Take a special behind-the-scenes tour of the factory to learn more about their handcrafted process and get up close and personal with our artists. Free event but reservations are required.

The 49th Annual Appalachian Festival is at Coney Island all weekend (May 11-13). Friday, 9am to 9pm; Saturday 10am – 9pm, and Sunday 10am to 6pm.

 

Saturday, May 12:

Asian Foodfest is at Washington Park this weekend. Enjoy Asian cuisine from more than 20 local restaurants, craft and Asian beer, and live entertainment in beautiful Washington Park, Noon to 10:00 pm on Saturday and noon to 8:00 pm on Sunday. Free Admission.

Crafty Supermarket makes its spring debut at Music Hall on Saturday. This is a great juried show featuring 100+ crafters, artists and makers from all over North America. Founded in 2009, Crafty Supermarket is a great day of crafty shopping where consumers get to meet their makers! 11am – 6pm. Line up early if you hope to snag one of their swag bags!

Head to Ensemble Theatre for Caffeinated Conversations. Caffeinated Conversations is a free, hour-long program that gives participants a behind-the-scenes look into a range theatrical topics. Enjoy a cup of joe and ask the questions you’ve long been yearning to ask our designers, stage managers, and technicians. Space is limited and reservations are required. Starts at 11am.

It’s time for Second Saturdays in Milford. Make Mom feel special with unique gifts from Historic Downtown Milford merchants and treat her to a dining experience like no other!  Also, enjoy complimentary treats and free music during this Second Saturday event!  Music featuring Sean Riley from 6-8pm. 11am – 8pm.

Loveland is hosting its 5th Annual Food Truck Rally! It will be an afternoon for the whole family–more than 20 food trucks, various entertainment (Mark Hayden Band and Counting Skeletons), bounce house for kids, and more! Come kick off summer! 3-10pm at Shoppers Haven Center.

The Cincinnati Preservation Association is hosting its Spring House Tour on Saturday in Westwood, 1-5pm.

The O.F.F. Market is setting up shop inside Madtree Brewing! Artists, bakers, chefs, scavengers, mobile boutiques, and everything in between will be converging on Madtree Brewing for an exciting indoor market in the Barrel Warehouse. 10am – 4pm.

 

Sunday, May 13:

Enjoy some family craft time with Mom at Carol Ann’s Carousel (Smale Riverfront Park), 11am – 5pm (free crafts).

Take Mom to see “Zoo Babies” at the Cincinnati Zoo. Moms receive FREE Zoo admission on May 13.

Butterflies of Madagascar is at the Krohn Conservatory: Moms get in at half price on May 13; 9am – 5pm.

The Clifton House Tour is happening on Sunday. Seven homes plus one additional historical location will be available on the tour from 1-5pm. These homes have special architectural features as well as historical stories that visitors learn about on the tour.
