Friday, June 29:

Friday Night Grillout: 5:00pm-8:00pm.  Start the weekend off on a good note. Enjoy live music and grilled favorites with your family all at beautiful Lake Isabella. The park boathouse and playground will also be open for after-dinner fishing & fun. Details

Canoe with Cincinnati Parks: 6:45pm-10:00pm Bring a picnic dinner & enjoy an evening with your family. Drop by anytime between 6:45 to 8:00 pm for FREE canoeing with a family-friendly movie following as the sun sets. Canoes, paddles, vests and instruction provided. Paradise Music & Beer Festival  6:00pm-2:00am Wooden Cask Brewing Company. Newport, Ky. Combining forces with Paradise on the Point to present Paradise Music & Beer Festival! 2 days of craft beer, local grub, arts, crafts and incredible music in the heart of Northern Kentucky! Details

Oakley Summer Series – Carnival Night 6:00pm-9:30pm The Oakley Community Council has revamped its annual summer programming with a new Oakley Summer Series event offering family-friendly fun, music and MadTree Brewing on the Esplanade. June’s final Friday will offer Carnival Night complete with the Cincinnati Circus Company, carnival games and more surprises. The first 150 people to the event will receive a special goody bag! Details

Rockin’ Friday Rockin’ Jump Trampoline Park 8:00pm-10:00pm Rockin’ Fridays is the dedicated time for teens and tweens (ages 11-17) to mix and mingle with friends while jumping to today’s top hits from 8:00 pm to 10:00 pm. Price per jumper is $18 for 2 hours. Details

Art after Dark Summer Shakedown 5:00pm-9:00pm Kick off the summer during Cincinnati Art Museum’s “Art After Dark: Summer Shakedown” featuring live music from The Cliftones, specialty cocktails, food for purchase from Eli’s BBQ and Graeter’s Ice Cream and access to the museum after hours including *free admission to Terracotta Army: Legacy of the First Emperor of China (see details at attached link for free ticket info). Saturday, June 30:

Butler Philharmonic plays at Pyramid Hill Sculpture Park: 7:00pm-9:00pm The Butler Philharmonic Orchestra will play selections inspired by moving water led by Maestro Paul Stanbery. Bring a picnic and enjoy a delightful concert among monumental works of art. This concert is FREE and made possible through the generosity of the Harry T. Wilks Foundation. Details 

Dances of India Free Performance at Children’s Museum Theater 1:00pm-2:00pm Come and enjoy the Dances of India. FREE (with admission) Performance at Cincinnati Museum Center’s Duke Energy Children’s Museum Theater. Details

Movie Sing-Along: Sing! – Newport Branch Hosted by the Campbell County Public Library 2:00pm-4:00pm   Stop in for a fun movie day! This Saturday’s featured film is the popular movie Sing! Those who attend will be given handouts of the song lyrics, so everyone can sing the songs while they watch. Details

Hyde Park Blast 7:30am-Midnight The full day of activities includes a 4-mile run through Hyde Park, kids’ runs, bike races, chariot races and a block party on the Square, featuring live music from DV8. The block party will feature craft beer from Braxton Brewery and 50 West, and food from some of Cincinnati’s favorite eateries: Dewey’s, Pit to Plate BBQ, Best Thing Smokin’ – and more. Proceeds from the 2018 event will go to The Cure Starts Now and the Karen Wellington Foundation. Details

Double Dutch Neighborhood Block Party 4:00pm-8:00pm Come out play French, double dutch, and single jump rope! Gabriel’s Place in association with ACDC have partnered to raise Heart Health Awareness in the community of Avondale with a Free Community Event called Jumping for Heart Double Dutch Community Block Party. Mayes Bluegrass Festival Bellevue Beach Park 12:00pm-11:00pm Focused on Am. Roots and Bluegrass music, set on the banks of the Ohio River, Mayesfest is an eclectic fun family friendly music food, and drink event! Details 

 

Sunday, July 1:

Rebuild the Ridge, 2-10pm. A benefit to redevelop the heart of the Pleasant Ridge Community. With such an outpouring of requests to help the owners of The Coffee Exchange & Molly Malones, we thought a party was the perfect way to do that. Come out and join your neighbors & friends, make new friends and have the ultimate Sunday Funday with us! We’ll have bands, kids activities and plenty of food and drink. Details

Sunday, Sun-Day, Sundae at Cincinnati Observatory: 1:00pm-4:00pm The Sun is the star attraction this Sunday, and you can learn all about Earth’s nearest stellar neighbor.  Sunday Sun-day Sundae includes short talks about the Sun, tours of our historic buildings, and safe viewing of sunspots and solar flares from our telescopes (weather permitting). Art at Vine on Fountain Square: 12:00pm-6:00pm  Up to 60 Local artists showcasing and selling fine arts and hand-made goods on the Lovely Landmark Fountain Square in the center of Downtown Cincinnati! Details 

Pop Up Play with Happen Inc 3:00pm-4:30pm Join Happen, Inc., a local, award-winning nonprofit bringing families and communities together through art and creative experiences, for a free art activity at Washington Park. It’s Time To Race! Paint your own hand-held car with racing stripes and learn all about line quality! This free interactive Happen activity is designed for children 6 to 10 year olds accompanied with an adult. Details
