Observing at Big Bone Lick State Park hosted by Big Bone Lick State Historic Site and Haile Planetarium at NKU 2:00pm-4:00pm. Haile Planetarium will be at Big Bone Lick State Park with their telescopes several times throughout the summer (weather permitting). In the afternoons they’ll  be outside the Visitor’s Center looking at the sun (with proper filters), and at night they’ll be up by the campground to see the moon, several planets, constellations, and some deep sky objects. A Circus of One hosted by The Contemporary Arts Center 3:00pm-4:00pm Be one of the lucky ones to see this in gallery performance by artist Alison Crocetta. Her exhibition will come to life with this 30 minute event followed by a brief Q&A. This performance runs the gamut from absurd to trance-inducing as she interacts with a large, shape-shifting wooden horse in her 20ft wide center ring. Details

5th Annual “An Afternoon with The Beer Barons” hosted by Spring Grove Cemetery 4:00pm-7:00pm The Spring Grove Heritage Foundation will host the 5th Annual ‘An Afternoon with the Beer Barons’ event from 4P to 7P. Participating brewers will provide samples of their most popular and unique beers. This year live music will be provided by The Cincy River Rats. Food trucks will be on site this year. This event will be held outdoors in the scenic Rose Garden just inside the main entrance of the cemetery. Details

Four Planets and the Moon hosted by Cincinnati Observatory 8:00pm-10:00pm The heavens will align as Four Planets and the Moon arc across the southern sky. Start off viewing the Moon at sunset, and then watch as the planets pop into view one at a time: Venus, Mars, Jupiter, and finally Saturn. Astronomers will be on hand to give planet talks and share views of this rare alignment of celestial bodies through the many telescopes (weather permitting). Details

Third Sunday Fundays, Taft Museum of Art, 1:00pm-4:00pm. This month’s theme is “Green Art”.
