Friday, October 23:

A Halloween favorite is coming to Big Bone Lick this season! Haunted Mini Golf will be offered every weekend in October starting on October 2nd. Bring your young witches and warlocks for daytime putting or join us after dark for a spooky good time! Lights, sounds, music, and more will bring the mini golf to life…or death! Appropriate for all ages. $5 per player. Open to the public.

Trunk or Treat at the Starlite Drive-In. Head to this Amelia area drive-in for Trunk or Treat followed by a monster double feature. You can come to give out candy from your car (mask up and gloves too) and/or the kids can come in costume and trick or treat at the parked cards. Children arriving at the gate in costume will get a coupon for a free child’s popcorn. The top 3 decorated trunks will win a family four pack admission for the 2021 season. Gates open at 5pm. Trunk or Treat is 6-7pm. Movies are Monsters, Inc. (7:30pm) followed by Monster House (approx. 9:15pm). Tickets can be purchased online here.


Saturday, October 24:

Enjoy the beauty of fall at Fall Fest Weekend at Washington Park, 12-6pm. They’ll have activities plus local vendors selling craft & homemade items, baked goods, pet needs and more.

Enjoy the Fall Bird Walks at Cincinnati Nature Center, 8 – 9:30am. Preregistration is required. No experience necessary, so beginners welcome! This program is designed for adults.

Wings and Wheels – The Tri-State Warbird Museum presents the area’s finest vehicles on display including WWII era aircraft, automobiles and motorcycles. There will be food and beverage along with swing music by provided by WOBO radio. All proceeds benefit the Tri-State Warbird Museum’s veterans programs. No walk up registrations will be processed. You must register for this event in advance.

Head to Lion’s Park in Fairfield for their Pumpkin and Munchkin Trick or Treat Trail, 12-4pm
Admission, Trick or Treating and parking are free. There will be vendors and crafters from 12pm to 4pm. Follow the Trick or Treat Trail to collect your candy from our vendors and crafters beginning at 1 pm to 3 pm. They’ll be firing up the grill with hotdogs and other side dishes that will be available for purchase or pack your lunch and have a picnic in the park. Minion will be taking pictures with all the ghouls and goblins from 12pm to 1pm so be sure to wear your best Halloween costume.

Fifty West Brewing Co. is hosting a Pumpkin Carving Day, 12-6pm. Tickets cover one pumpkin and carving kit. They’ll pick their favorites from the day and feature them on their Instagram, and you’ll have a chance to win prizes! They’ll provide the pumpkins, cutting tools, and space. Grab a burger, beer/soda, and get to carving! Participants will be limited to 15 per one-hour session. Purchase tickets online.


Sunday, October 25:

Enjoy the beauty of fall at Fall Fest Weekend at Washington Park, 12-6pm. They’ll have activities plus local vendors selling craft & homemade items, baked goods, pet needs and more.

The Dent Schoolhouse will have a Lights On Tour on Sunday only, 4-6pm. Trick-or-treat through the halls of Dent and experience family friendly monsters. Candy and prize stations will be located throughout the haunt. Event listing says: Tickets MUST BE PURCHASED ONLINE THIS YEAR.
