Full Throttle Indoor Karting

Here we are with another installment of “365 Things to do in Cincinnati” and today we’re featuring fun and fast Full Throttle Indoor Karting.

Full Throttle Indoor Karting

Located in the Tri-County / Springdale area, Full Throttle is an indoor, all season go kart track. With 14 corners and speeds up to 40 m.p.h., you can really have the race of a lifetime!

To get started, you watch a brief instructional video which covers safety and driving issues. Then you “suit up” which includes a skull cap, a heavy duty racing helmet and a neck brace (just in case!).

You can even sport a full racing jumpsuit (is that what you call it?) if you’d like. My husband never does anything half way and just HAD to try one on…

You even get to pick your own racing name. They put you into a kart and everyone gets secured. Then it’s off to the races!

The track loops around (14 turns) and is surrounded by tires.. just in case you take a turn with a bit of speed. Each ride is measured by time and it’s a duration of 8 minutes. At the end they display the stats for each kart.

To keep you occupied while you’re not racing, they also offer pool tables, video games and a very cool multi-person race track.

They have a large party room (birthday and corporate parties would be great to have here). They also have tables in the lobby if you’d like to be a specatator.

We really enjoyed our evening and would like to extend a big thank you to Yelp for inviting us. Everyone seemed to really have a great time. The hubby says he’d go again and again. And in full disclosure, we did not have to pay to ride tonight.

Full Throttle Indoor Karting is located at 11725 Commons Drive in Springdale (close to Dave and Buster’s)
