It’s Day 173 of “365 Things to do in Cincinnati” and today we’re out enjoying this beautiful fall weather at Webb C. Gower Park in Sharonville.
This is a great park located near the Sharonville Recreation Center and the Sharonville branch of the public library.
The park has some great climbing and play sets for the little ones as well as a number of swings and slides.
The playground is under the shade of trees and has plenty of bench space for moms and dads who want to sit back and watch. There’s also a very nice picnic area right next to the playground.
The park has two different covered pavilions that have picnic tables and grills. This one also has horse shoe pits. The website does say these are for resident use only but you might want to call them to check.
The park has a nice ball field, a large field with soccer nets as well as tennis courts.
If you’re looking for a nice way to spend the afternoon, stop by Gower Park. Its picnic area would be great for lunch and the library right across the street gives you a second free activity for your afternoon. You can also stop by nearby Patriot Pointe, Sharonville’s Memorial to our Veterans (off the library parking lot).
The Webb C. Gower Park is located across from the Sharonville Recreation Center, 10990 Thornview Drive
