Copper Blue

Here we are with another installment of “365 Things to do in Cincinnati” and today we’re featuring a fun little spot to grab a bite to eat in Milford – Copper Blue.

I’ve driven by this place many times (it’s very close to Sugar Cupcakery, the Promont House, MJ’s on Main, and many more) but have yet to stop… until today.  I met a friend for lunch at Copper Blue today and I will tell you – I will definitely go back again.  Our lunch was goooooood. I mean, really, who wouldn’t love this…

I had the Spicy! burger which definitely lived up to its name.  With jalapeno bacon, pepper jack cheese, Siraccha-infused onions, and chipotle mayo, this burger is not for the faint of heart.  I love spicy anything and this packed a perfect punch.  It was not hot but it was spicy – just right in my opinion.  The bacon was amazing (assuming you like it hot!).  The bun was tender and moist.  The lettuce was shredded and the pickles were very fresh and crispy.  This was a mighty fine burger!

My lunch buddy ordered their fish tacos.

These were good…. not as good as the burger… but very good for fish tacos.  The slaw was amazing.  The portion size was perfect for lunch.  And what’s that on the side, you ask?  Those would be sweet potato tater tots.  Yes, they’re a little slice of autumn heaven on your plate.

We couldn’t leave without a peek at the dessert menu. That turned out to be a huge mistake as it had a combo of my favorite things – bread pudding made with Krispy Kreme donuts. Really, how could we NOT have some of that?!

I can easily recommend that you visit Copper Blue.  The food was great and the prices were very reasonable.  And just look at how adorable the owners are…
