Day 4 – Clifton Plaza on Ludlow

The long awaited Clifton Plaza is celebrating its opening today. Right in the middle of the Clifton and Ludlow area, this park-type setting will provide a nice outdoor alternative to lunch-goers and area residents.  Clifton Plaza is within walking distance of many restaurants including Skyline, Dewey’s, Olive’s, and a number of great Indian restaurants.

The Plaza is convenient to parking, being just up the steps from the parking lot on Howell.  It should provide a nice connection between the parking lot below and the businesses on Ludlow.  The steps come up on one side of the plaza and Ludlow is on the other end.  There is also parking on Ludlow (metered).

I’m sure the businesses are all thrilled with the addition of the Clifton Plaza.  It should help connect parking to business and provide a great outdoor dining experience as well.

My favorite restaurant in Clifton is Biagio’s Bistro! Try the Artichoke Dip and the Alfredo! Don’t forget dessert, the Cream Puffs and Cannoli! To die for :)

  2. Anna says:

Ambar India. Freaking Chiken Tikka Masala is incredible. Always have leftovers and it’s the best thing to eat late at night. I’ll have it any time!

  3. Anna says:

Oh yeah, and my dad used to own Biagio’s Bistro, back when it was Petersen’s – Good to Go. Woo for connections!

  4. Samantha says:

You can never go wrong with Sitwell’s. From the menu, to the wait staff, to the wide variety of people that step foot through the doors– the whole experience is really enjoyable. I highly suggest the Briemato and Mexicoco!

  5. Jill says:

Ok… What was where the plaza is now and when did they tear them down. Wasn’t there a wine store there? Wow, don’t go to Ludlow for a few months and all hell breaks loose.

  6. Bridgett says:

According to “Building Cincinnati” Clifton Plaza is in the space that was formerly Bender Optical

  7. Stacey says:

I have two favorites in Clifton… It’s a tie between Biagio’s who has the best Brushetta and Ambar where my favorite dish is Chicken Mater with Cheese Nan.

  8. Jessica says:

Ludlow Wines is still there. I live on Ludlow and there are so many places I like. The Proud Rooster is great for breakfast or lunch. Arlins has a great beer selection and delicious food. I also tend to go to Habenero way too much.
