It’s Day 364 of “365 Things to do in Cincinnati” and today we’re featuring a second location for Coffee Emporium – Hyde Park.
I originally headed out to the Hyde Park area to scout out “The Mushroom House” and stumbled upon the Hyde Park location of Coffee Emporium (which sits right across the street from The Mushroom House actually).
The Hyde Park Coffee Emporium is so much different from the Over the Rhine location! I was totally surprised. This Coffee Emporium calls an old converted house its home.
It’s a very charming spot. Inside they have all the coffee you could want. And they have all kinds of baked goods, snacks, and gifts. It’s much smaller than the Over the Rhine Coffee Emporium and seems to be more of a coffee spot rather than a full blown cafe. But what I found incredibly charming about this location is its outside seating.
Next to the house and along the street you’ll find garden tables sitting amongst the trees and gorgeous plantings. Some of the tables have umbrellas as well. It’s a perfect spot to sit and watch the world go by with your favorite drink.
But the part I REALLY loved was the magical seating in the back. Covered by a grapevine canopy, these tables are in shade for the most part. You can seriously enjoy some quiet time back here OR you can come with a group and sit outside. There’s plenty of seating.
I love this location and wish I lived closer! It was a great find!
This location of Coffee Emporium is located at 3316 Erie Avenue
Other Coffee Emporium locations include Over the Rhine (110 East Central Pkwy), Xavier University (at the Gallagher Student Center), and their newest location is located at 303 Broadway downtown
